SHIP MANAGEMENT / SUPERINTENDENT
Clearmarine is able to assist with ship management and ship superintendent roles. We can act as relieving superintendents in management positions, maintenance or dry dock supervision. We can fit into any organisation for a short period of time or extended period of time.
Since 1999 Rob has acted as the Ship superintendent / Vessel Manager and new build supervisor for a highly respected LPG outfit which operated vessels in the south pacific and Asia. He also acted as Vessel manager for 4 x 85000-100,000GT Bulk Carriers for Teekay Shipping and completed numerous project works. In addition to this work he has also been completing Fire and Safety Surveys for Australian/international clients.
From 1990 to 2011 Barry acted as the Ship superintendent/Ship manager for a highly respected LPG outfit which operated vessels in the south pacific and Asia.
2011-Current: Barry has completed Vessel Surveys for our Australian/international Clients and completed Fire and Safety surveys for our Australian/international clients
Based on our experience we offer the following services.
- Arranging and Supervising Class Surveys
- Assist vessels with Port state inspections (Australia and New Zealand)
- Establishment and maintaining ISM / ISPS systems
- Arranging and managing crewing
- Arranging maintenance / dry docks
- Providing budgets and maintenance forecast costings for new deliveries or new builds
- Organising bunkers, lube oils, Analysis
- Provide shore side assistance (Designated Person, Company Security Officer)
- Reporting to owners
- Implementing IMO, Flag, OCIMF and local regulations
- Research and Development.
- LPG Cargo operations
- Source and supply replacement parts (safety equipment, Flares, smoke signals, lights etc)
